Description The deep wamnips (Bathykraken copastomum) is the only extant member of a once-widespread group of primitive papiliocochleans on Gossipiboma. Despite its large size (50-60 ft) nobody has observed a live wamnips and what it does with its long, trailing ventral tentacles (everything from anchoring the animal in place to wafting a cloud of its own urinary secretions around it has been proposed), but numerous dead specimens have washed up on Gossipiboman beaches, and have provided a detailed look at the anatomy of the beast.
The oral lobes are thin and knifelike, and conceal rows of hooked tentacles, presumably used for catching prey, though the structure of the mouth might also allow for filter feeding.
The mouths are similar to the long ventral tentacles, which have small nephridiopores opening between them, and the tail has broad lobes that are probably used for swimming rather than fanning gametes towards members of the opposite sex.

This guy first appeared at [link] , but I've since updated and streamlined its design. I like it much better now.

I like the new design.
What do you use to create your pencil drawings? Out of curiosity. (Pencil type? Paper?)

Well, for this, I think I initially used just a regular #2 pencil and then did the fine detail work with a mechanical pencil. The paper is some kind of generic acid-free sketchbook paper.
