Description From my Jehol Biota series, which I drew Fall of 2017. Confuciusornis is the oldest-known bird to have had a beak, and fossil evidence indicates it’s plumage may have had greys, red/browns & blacks. . This was mostly an exercise in anatomy & a believable, scientifically accurate coloration for multiple species of the same genus, but I think the shading/detail could use some work. Oh and that skeletal bottom-right shows a chicken wing, not that of Confuciusornis!!! The feathered wing below is Confuciusornis though.Β
