Description
This is 5 meter long predator from Coatlicue green desert. This cephalothoraxid is quite weird. It walks on its mouth limbs and uses hind pair as a weapon. Probably its ancestors colonized land separately from other land cephalothoraxid ancestors. It is one of the first Coatlicue creatures i designed 12 years ago and obviously i wanted to make something between dinosaur and mantis shrimp.Related content

Knowing your inspirations, I can imagine exactly what this animal should look like and how it moves ... Moreover, its excellent view (its eyes make me think of a Salticidae), this animal must be able to observe its prey on long distance ...
it would be even more ingenious if this creature were endowed with the same hunting logic of the spider Portia ... precisely calculating its attacks ...

I would be honored
Eyes of all Coatlicue animals which have eyes are based on those of salticidae.
But this creature is of course not a jumper, its too heavy for it, its a runner. And when it is close to its prey it rapidly open these raptorial limbs to impale it.

the absence of a discernable head makes this decidedly alien! I also like how it's all legs!
