Description This was taken in May of 1987 in Yosemite National Park. We drove in the night before in a blinding springtime snow storm. It was perfect for picture taking.

Wow thats a beautiful picture.
I've been there before and I'm pretty sure that that's the lake that I walked on, it was frozen of course ^^

really beautiful indeed

u might wanna try it with blue tone as well to fit the winterish mood... there could be more space above but if u originally cropped it there then i guess there's nothing we can do. maybe using the scale tool in PS stretch it a bit if there's enough quality. just my 2 cents

Thanks for the suggestions. Can't really do anything about the space above, that's the way the original photo was composed. But the blue tone is a good idea.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I love digital, but film photography really hones your skill since you have to try an get a good shot right there on the spot. It can be frustrating finding just the right location with the right light, but some shots, like this one, pretty much take themselves.
