It's probably because they both act like they have Asperger's (even though Sherlock insists he's a high-functioning sociopath, not that anyone believes that, not even John.) The main difference is that Sheldon has people in his life that are patient and understanding with him, while Sherlock's been treated horribly his whole life, John being the first person who tries to understand and help him.

lol! I was thinking that Sherlock would win because Sheldon can be a child about arguments where someone tries to disprove anything he says. Sherlock is a little more calm than Sheldon... though acts like a child himself at times.
