Description

As often happens, after painting the commissioned Black Legion Terminator I had some fancy for Chaos Terminators left, so I went after my own older miniatures.

I started to work on this miniature (along with four more) in 2007, but the project never went anywhere. The model was fully assembled and had some basic colours applied with less than stellar attention. I managed to detach both arms (and one of the trophy racks by lucky accident) and the base. While I was at it, I also swapped the original axe for a power fist from one of the other Terminators and used a standard combi bolter instead of a combi melta.

The rhino head has been my favourite since 2nd Edition and even if realistically would be just a hindrance to the field of vision, it looks badass.

Maybe some day I'll paint the other four, but for now I've had enough of the industrial pattern and I must finish a couple of other projects.

Armour: Iron Warriors, Contrast Medium + Bestial Brown, Iron hands Steel, Targor Rageshade ❤️, Abaddon Black, Gal Vorbak Red, Ryza Rust, Bestigor Flesh, Stormhost Silver.

Cables, armour joints, grilles, attachment teeth and combi bolter: Iron Warriors, Nuln Oil, Leadbelcher, Stormhost Silver.
