Actually David it's Dalswinton Estate [link] It was the Lairds `open day', so not usually available to the public.

Got it, Michael - thanks for that. It's the small building that fooled me - I think at Corsock there is a similar structure across the lochen. But I've put Dalswinton on the list.

The opening times are limited as I say David, but the lake and gardens are nice, they also have a plant sales area; and the tea and stickies are not bad either!!
