Description Mighty warriors and competent mages - the Faelds are great allies and almost unstopable enemies.
Since their homeland Vidathar is still suffering from the after effects of the the past two great wars, the Faelds returned to Domhan to claim their old colony - just to find numerous new species who are not really support their ideas of rebuilding their empire.
The Faeld empire looks back to hundreds of bloody years - once they ruled Domhan, enslaved the natives and had a flourishing civilization - but those days are passed. At the golden age of the Faeld Empire apart from them only the bloodthirsty Kadmets and the reserved ice mages, the Ark'Seguths visited Domhan. The Faelds sucessfully protected their borders of the Kadmet hordes, and had a rather good diplomatic relationship with the Ark'Seguth for a long time. Then came the War of Ice. The new Ark'Seguth king declared war on the Faelds and almost managed to conquer Vidathar, before his own generals killed him. The Faelds suffered huge casulaties in the W.o.I, but the following civil war was just as savage if not worst. It only ended a few years ago, and peace is still not complete in the area. ( (Now Vidathar has two emperors, but only one is accepted by the Council of Domhan - I. Falondril  [honestly, I don't even remember what's the name of the other guy] )

The Faelds are the most skilled magic wielders of all species, plus they are fierce warriors with long years of practice behind their back. Faelds can live up to 300 years, and they are capable of mana steeling - a trick that all the other magicians are deadly afraid of. In our lovely illustration we  can see their number one recognizance: the horns. Their eyes are also peculiar, (tho you can't see in this picture) - they have no pupil/iris, but their whole eyeball shines in the coour of the magic they mastered.
The lady on the left wears a traditional Faeld armor with a full face helmet - and the gentleman is dressed as a classical war mage.
(btw, they are horribly tall - ometimes over 2 meters)

Oh, we are switching sides here, from the old western guys to the hi-magicians and emperors. Such a good variety of races! You even work a lot in ther backstory, names, locations, war chronology and racial traits. Once I finished the reading I come to think how much work you guys are putting into this! Congratulations!

Faelds looks like a class and character I would choose because ther afiinty to magic (also, mana steeling? that's big warning for every magician!). Your drawing looks amazing, we can clearly recognize the female/knight character and the male/magician one. Their horns are indeed easy to see and I think it's a nice feature, what about their skin tone? I'm curious. XD

In summary, they are brave warriors to be fear by anyone who stand their path, I mean: they are descendant from an old empire culture, they have high skills for magic and physical weapons. Hm...what about their elements, in the picture we see only one per character. There's something like an "element lock"? I mean, if they can only control just one at the time or per job.

Thank you, Coppery.

Hahaha, Falondril would be so happy to see your comment :'D ( he might actually, sometimes he stalks here )
First of all, I'm not expert in faeldology, you see, we all have our "own" species, and Faelds are not my territory, but I can more or less accurately answer your questions
1. Their skin colour is natural suntanned (especially since they messed up their ecosystem in the Civil War and turned a big portion of Vidathar into desert)
2. They can control more than one element but it's only allowed above a certain rank - lil faelds are trained with the element that suits them the most than they can master a new after proving that they are worthy for their nation. Eg. their emperor, Falondril (I also refer to my friend, the other creator as Falo, cause it's his chosen character ) controls all the elemental magic ( water, fire, earth, air, light, darkness - but not blood magic or ice magic - the first is forbidden and the second can only be used by Ark'Seguths. Other species would die even if they try it)

Thank you very much for your reply, Coppery. I hope to not bother you with my curiosity and silly questions. I'll try to read your new drawings description soon!
Take care.
