Description
The Nomura class UGCV was designed by the Japanese Self Defense Force as a next generation replacement for its fleet of MBTs.

Recognising that future conflicts would predominantly take place in and around urban environments where traditional MBTs cannot operate effectively, the Nomura UGCV was the Japanese Defense Ministry's solution.

Armed with a Metal Storm turret and equipped with multiple ECM and sensor suites, the Nomura is bigger, better and faster than traditional UGCVs like the Talon SWORDS used in Iraq by the Americans.

The use of independent treads allows the Nomura to traverse difficult terrain with little problem.
