Beautiful composition and symbolism of the lion and the woman. I love the amount of detail, especially the cat with the bell. Can't wait to see it coloured!

Very nice, although the birds and faeries look a bit soft for the "strenght" card...

goodness. after this many amazing pieces involving animals, i have to ask - do you use references, or just your magnificent brain?

I use some references, but never for the exact pose. I find a whole bunch of pictures of lions and study them so I understand how all the lines flow together and then I make my own lion from that.

Very beautiful picture! What's to be in the sphere the lion has under his paw?
And come to think of it...the cat farthest to the left looks like my neighbor's Boston Terrier. 0_o;

No, the standard for strength is a woman in white with roses on her belt, either closing or opening the mouth of a lion. This card I'm keeping more to the usual imagery than the others that I've done so far.

Oh wow! Colored, or even just outlined, this will be an awesome card. The woman with the lion is a perfect representation of strength, and it fits well with your theme. Keep them coming; you're doing an awesome job!

Beautiful work! Be careful of your lions paw, its looking a little chubby. Hope it comes out to your liking!
