Yep, actually just finished writing a whole book of mermaids/angels/fairies. Should be available early next year. Keep an eye on my journal for more info about that.

The pose here and sense of movement is nothing short of amazing. It was also a bit of a chnage for me to see pencil work from you... then again is this pencil?

i can't see where her left leg goes. i like the curves of her body on her right side all the way along it. i like how her fingers are so long. very practical really for what she is.

this is such a gorgeous drawing, but if you take the anatomy correctly, the hips are a little too big

Oh my god! I feel like I should say something about this, but I don't know where to start. I guess...the scales are the most amazing part for me. Or no, the fins. Or maybe the kelp clothes. I like the pose and the self-contained nature of the drawing. It doesn't ask for any more background than it has (I admire that because I'm lousy at backgrounds myself, but can't find a way to get around them).
