The enemy has your allies surrounded, occupies their homeland, prevents most relief from getting through, and are ideologically Nazis in a very real sense. Do you commandeer a gunship and come to the rescue, weapons blazing? Launch a counterattack on their other territories, hoping to distract them and leave them vulnerable for your allies to counterattack? Perhaps you work on your own society, convincing them that it's actually a good idea to commit to military action to aid your friends?

Well sure, you can do any or all of those things... if you have money.

Which is why we're having a charity ball next weekend! Five thousand credits a plate for the dinner, five thousand credits for dance privledges, Ten thousand more for song requests! Maggie, you'll figure out how many guests we'll have, and what kind of facilities that means we need. Al, you're responsible for publishing the announcements. Tiffany, you're going to be our hostess. No complaining about having to talk to people. I want you to flirt with everyone. Wear something that shows off your figure. We need people distracted while we charge the most exorbitant rates we can get away with.

I, of course, will put it all together and twist arms until we get enough attendees to buy another destroyer.
