Heya guys, hope your summer is going well
Even though I said I wouldn't draw Xemjas, I seemed to have an urge, but I have a couple of other characters waiting in the wings for me to put on here. I had to revise the Keyblade because, while I knew that Xemjas did have the Keyblade, I had no pictures of it here on DA. EPIC FAIL

So this is the end of my new years resolution to redraw the characters that we made five years ago, it's been nice revisiting them all and seeing how far I've progressed as an artist.

So here he is, Xemjas ;

Keyblade: DARKSTAR

Almace: Xemjas swings the Keyblade in broad arks to strike the opponent from every angle, occasionally teleporting behind the foe to catch them off guard. Finishes the combo by unleashing a column of darkness that sends the foe into the sky, then unleashes another dark beam from his hands that intercepts the enemy mid fall.

Ascalon [Aerial]: Xemjas creates two dark swords and hovers around the enemy while throwing them. The spinning blades use the opponent’s last position as their target. Finally he extends his limbs and explodes with a dark energy sphere.

[Ancile] – Caladbolg: Upon a successful guard with a dark barrier, Xemjas knocks the opponent into the air to perform a combo of dark attacks, which he ends by sending them crashing to the ground with a swing of a dark-infused Keyblade. Attack can be performed in the air.

Shadowflare: Creates a dark explosion around a group of enemies. Enemies caught in the blast take heavy damage and sustain burns.

Durandal: Slices through the air to create two horizontal and vertical shockwaves that weakly track the opponent. Quick execution, mid range.

Black Ice [Counterattack]: After taking damage from a combo, Xemjas backflip kicks the foe, causing a large column of ice to send the opponent skyrocketing. The enemy is primed for an aerial follow up if the attack connects.

[Ruin] – Balmung: Xemjas creates a crest on the opponent that immobilises them on occasion, creating opportunities for him to strike. If the player presses the reaction command when the enemy is immobilised, Xemjas calls forth two disembodied arms to tear the opponent into two.

Valhalla: Jumps high into the air and thrusts his Keyblade into the ground, creating several dark columns that extend in a sphere from Xemjas’ position.

Ion Strike [Aerial]: Rips open the sky to send an enormous bolt of dark lightning crashing down to the opponent’s last position. Deals heavy damage in a small area.

Lunar Force: Invokes the light of the moon to send a massive beam crashing into the battlefield, severely damaging a group of enemies.

Advent [Throw]: Xemjas mimics James and moves the Keyblade with his mind to mimic his hand movements. While the Keyblade attacks, Xemjas uses his hand-to-hand proficiency to deliver lightning fast punches and kicks. He finishes the move with a swift kick to the chest that knocks the foe flying.

LIMIT

Arondight: Xemjas releases a shockwave that blows the foe away if they are near. He then performs a series of ritual movements, causing thirteen energy blades to revolve around him. Each held by ethereal versions of himself. He switches between sweeping the blades in broad arks and blasting beams of darkness from his hands. Finally he vanishes and slashes a group of opponents with near invisible speed.
