I have fun
When I googled the actual picture for reference, the Lynx gave me a very surprising
'pointy ears'? Nah, I didnt see those before. And of course I know having the ears popping out of the hood looks funny. But I like it that way. I am quite surprise that each character looks very distingtive in their own appearance when they are being realistic. Zhan looked easily annoyed and have hygiene problem XD. Fong is... not much of comment, interesting with the pointy ears added. While Li Wei does looks like some tough guy resembling some egyptian god.

lol Thanks! Well, I didnt plan to send it in just yet. But heh, I might update this into colors if i want to. It was a fun tryout, looking at real photos and try to twist them into the faces that i am familiar with. Li Wei looks the best though, Zhan however needs a serious makeover.

You think so? I thought Zhan looked really good with his serious face on ... Although Zhan's personalty doesn't really match the look he's giving, X3 So I kinda see your point.
Well, whatever you plan to do will probably be pretty cool. But my only real suggestion is to have fun with it. If this realistic style isn't your thing, I wouldn't try to force it X3. But, I'm sure you already knew that.

Fong looks.... innocent in this picture. and Li Wei looks uneasy as if he's waiting for something to happen. And Zhan looks angry. Great job on these sketches.
