Moonsik is compact and efficient. He’s very clean and orderly, almost never being seen in public looking messy or out of place. He excels at compartmentalizing both the good and bad, and has a pesky habit of micromanaging when stressed. They make up for their slight stature by speaking clear, loud and concise. He doesn’t take any shit, and occasionally comes off as over-defensive, especially around those taller or more muscular. They have a tendency to mutter snide remarks under their breath when they feel wronged, offended, or otherwise irritated, and has been on the nastier sides of girl group stans since he was fired from his job. Around strangers, Moonsik is cordial as needed but has a tendency to be closed off. He doesn’t handle aggressive tones of voice very well (might snap back) unless from someone shorter or over the phone. Acquaintances and colleagues begin to see the edges of their dry humor and wittiness, though they try to keep it under wraps and appear completely professional, possibly to the extent of coming off as straight-laced. Friends, family and pets see him as snarky, loud, and opinionated about topics he’s passionate about. Moonsik has lived fairly quiet and modestly. In a home with his mother, father, and older brother he was never shorted attention or irritation, daily conversation rife with equal amounts of sibling rivalry and admiration. Growing up, his brother had the most wonderful, shiny Razor scooter, and being the little bandwagoner for anything his brother did, Moonsik wanted one as well. The admiration ended as nothing but bruised knees and perpetual helmet hair, but determination won out, and instead of walking anywhere, he was almost always seen rolling by on his scooter. He and his brother went to the same school up to high school, where his brother ended up going to a science prep in the area, and Moonsik himself was left with his second choice school, closer to home.

His parents saved enough for both kids to do a semester abroad in America, and that opens Moonsik’s eyes to the broadness of orientation and presentation, something he had only heard about in hushed whispers, harsh slurs, and foreign forums he could hardly make out. Intrigued and not sure where else to start, he joins his host school’s GSA for the semester and makes most of his friends abroad that way. He also got his first ride on an Actual Motorcycle—courtesy of one of his friends—and was smitten at first sight, immediately placing it into his list of desires.

He’s only ever been average in his studies, if not a little more partial to mathematics, so upon returning to Korea, when the decision to attend college comes into view, he picks a smaller school with a multitude of math-related majors. He quits his job at the skin care/makeup store, sticking to babysitting his cousins from time to time in order to focus on his studies. His brother aims for SKY.

In college, he exceeded in not only his math classes, but his speech classes as well, joining the debate team for fun and becoming rather vocal about queer activism on campus. Which goes better than anticipated, but not without tossed insults and nasty looks. Moonsik makes a habit of brushing them off. A job at a jajangmyeon delivery restaurant means free food, extra cash, and a (mostly functional) motorbike, so he’s pleased with those developments. He graduates on track and gets an internship and subsequent job as an accountant right after, which he keeps for about two years before getting fired as a result of the firm going out of business (ouch). He also gets a dog as soon as he moves out of the dorms and into his own place.

After being fired, Moonsik mopes for a couple of months, drowning his woes in youtube videos and all-you-can-eat barbecue places near his apartment. He buys a bunny to accompany his Greyhound and begins to get into kpop after years of pretending like pop music was for teenage girls and young children, “falling in love” with Girls’ Generation.

One day, after coming back from stuffing himself full from a ‘hell ramyun’ challenge, he sees an advertisement for the RFA. Snapping a sloppy picture of the number on the sheet he heads home and doesn’t remember about the flyer until days later when he’s looking for a meme to use. He scores an interview and bam. The sweet promise of fancy new vehicles awaits.
