I discovered this neat old school house about 10 miles from my house when I was a kid, a few days ago I decided I wanted a photo of it for my collection, and I was saddened to find it has fallen in.At least I got this shot and several others to keep it alive in spirit!

From Grade 3 to grade 5, I went to an old school house called Maple View---it's near Woodville.
It closed during half of Grade 5, then turned into a house on the inside, at least it's preserved that way.

Really? Cool..lol, there's probably lots of mini schools in Quebec though, they really like to keep everything that is old and good. ^^
But I do know that Beaverton Public School is very small, and has eight portables. The same with the other school, Macasckles Mills. Sooooooo many portables.
Friends of mine that went to different public schools, always went to the HUGE ones. O_O......so big that you could get lost easily.
My high school is small though. Tuns of portables again.
Sometimes I wonder why they don't just join all those portables together *create tunnels!

What a shame. It is a pretty building. I wonder if restoration is even an option at this point

It's come down a lot farther in the last few months, it's basically beyond saving now, I figured it was still savable in this photo, but definately not now....
No the windows are gone, vandals have "removed" them.
The sad thing is this is the only thing left of the community of Sparling.

It really is, when i first found this place as a kid on my bike, I figured it would get saved for sure, but it took me years to get back out there, and when I finally did I was saddened to see it falling in.

Yes I did, I think I took 3 or 4, do you want to see more angles of it?
I also plan on going to visit it in the summer with my 1931 Pontiac, I might get some good shots with it!
