Drawn at [link] Tsubasa is probably my favourite character from Kare Kano, so it's a shame she doesn't get more screen time. Fun fact: It's amusing/lame how if you'll leave an oekaki running for a few days, people will look at the time counter and go "4000 minutes? Holy shit!" They probably think I sat there for four days straight working on the stupid thing. A har har har.Related content

YAY! Tsubasa is the best!!! If you haven't, read the manga... I read it before I saw the anime and I think it portrays her better. Awesome picture! All she needs is to be holding a big Totoro plushie! (Not sure if they share her love of Totoro in the anime... ^^")

I have read a few volumes of the manga, but haven't gotten up to Tsubasa's appearance yet.
And yep, they kept her love for Totoro in the anime. There was a scene where she was with all the girls, and one of them points and says "Look! It's Totoro!" and Tsubasa is like "TOTORO?! WHERE?!" and then she starts running after this big Totoro. Tsubasa is just a big cutie

Ohh, I loved all the characters (except for Arima, he was a little too boring for me) but Tsubasa was just the best one. I love the one episode where the girls are doing a recap and say "Oh, Tsubasa hasn't talked for a while" and she starts talking and complaining about how she never gets any scenes. Poor girl ;_;
I really need to get the friggin manga because I want to see if Arima turns into some kind of psychotic abusive bastard. Oh, and because of Tonami and Sakura

woooooah I replied late ;x; sorry sweeetcake! I too loved all the characters! I think the show was bad whenever Arima was in it though....well I mean when it was an episode with him and Yukino. Although I did like Yukino enough to keep watching. I wanted to like them being together but I don't see why she would have any reason to really like him. Like you said BORING. And Yukino is awesome! I just think that Tsubasa had the best episodes...they made me feel and warm and gooie inside ;x; And I like when Yukino is flying on the side of the school while chasing Tsubasa :'x It was funny. I want to read the manga for more everybody! Especially for more Kazuma and Tsubasa :3 wigglewiggle* wow I wrote a lot again I'm sorry ;o;

Yess, I just started reading the manga. There's this really cute story at the end of the first book, about some girl who thinks she's ugly and she refuses to look people in the face and it's so sweet. Sooo there is more Tsubasa and Kazuma in the manga? Excellllent

Yeah, she's weird, but it makes her really cute. I couldn't stand her when she first appeared in the show, and didn't think the voice suited her...but you know, now I adore her, and the voice is perfect for her. There really should have been more screen time for her, that little side story about her father was really good.

True true... I didn't like her either but after she wasn't a threat to Arima and Miyazawa's relationship, did I start thinking she was cute.. and her voice actress voice for her grew on me.. My favorite scene with her was the fancy dinner scene when her soon to be step brother thought that she would be his little sister, and she goes ballistic... and to think that it's the same voice as the pink hair guitar weilding chick in FLCL..

Haha that was such a great scene. My personal favourite was when she and her soon to be step brother are in the apartment eating icecream and just talking about how similiar their lives were (both having a deceased parent and pretty much being alone)
That chick though seriously has an awesome voice. You don't hear many voices like that

Haha. Yeah, it's good, except there are a lot of recap episodes (groan...not enough shit happens in the show for the five billion recap episodes they throw at us) plus there are some episodes that might as well be a recap episode because they have this massive 10 minute long playback of previous episodes. Hooo good golly. But other than that, it's good. A good, angsty, romantic teenage comedy...which isn't mind numbingly stupid.

Might I suggest Boys Be if you haven't seen it? I enjoyed it (not the best, but pleasant).
But yeah, if you wanna get all student love story with weirdness, Onegai Teacher has to be my fave.
And recaps are the death of me... ugh!

Oh no, there's comedic relief, because it's a romantic comedy. It's actually a pretty funny show. Like...a romantic comedy has to be damn good if I'll watch it, because I absolutely loath romantic comedies.
