Description
So Orion owns a zweihander ever since I learnt what a zweihander was, but I didn't really look into how you must fight with one. Or well, I did look into it, found some stabby stabby swing stuff and the fact giant swords were used by giant men and were good against polearms, but I didn't learn these oversized letter openers are also known as montante and spadone, depending on where you are in Europe. I do now, and boy, that gives some interesting fighting techniques
One starting stance is this, which I ended up drawing because I found it so odd that the sword is pointing straight at the ground. Hold the sword before you, pointy end down (the free hand can rest on the sword arm, but I noticed that too late to draw it). Then you bring forward that rear leg, kick the pointy end of the sword, then swing the entire thing above your head and go full helicopter. Shame my novel doesn't contain helicopters, otherwise I would have totally used that description X'D It looks like this:

never knew a sword that massive could be that fast and elegant.
also, swordfighting should always be done without shirt because reasons.
