Was originally just a sketch thing for someone who wanted to see Talae with shorter hair, ended up slapping some color on it: [link]

He doesn't particularly want any of the various titles and accolades he's got, but he's a pragmatist and tends to make the best of whatever situation he's in. Eventually I'll draw up his full Commander robes, which have the smaller pauldrons here and a gorget, but are still predominantly leather in addition to the light plating. The others I usually have him in are for occasions when he doesn't have to be all formal and whatnot.

I figure in about ten years he'll have settled into his new role, picked up some new scars, and gotten a new, more military hairstyle that people can take more seriously.
