Description Traditional (mixed media) drawing of Michael Fassbender. I wanted to try something new and combine watercolours with markers on watercolour paper, but then I ended up painting the background with watercolours and drawing everything else with markers and just a few details with colored pencil.
I don't know why, but my scanner turned a few parts of his face white although there's not white on the paper. Maybe there's just too pale and the light of the scanner is too bright.

Reference was a picture from a photoshoot (?).

Canson art students watercolour pad 18x25cm 300g/mΒ²; Copic Ciao and Sketch marker, Schmincke Horadam (Finest artists' water-colours), Faber-Castell Polychromos artists' colour pencils; time: ~10 hours

Lol! Ich denke mal, dass jeder Künstler seinen Scanner hasst oder ihn manchmal gerne aus dem Fernster schmeißen würde. Das "witzige" an den weißen Bereichen im Gesicht ist übrigens, dass es sogar kein rein weißes Papier (Aquarellpapier) mit Hautfarbe ist... Das sieht man mal wie viel beim Scannern verloren geht.
Vielen dank! Oh nein... jetzt sehe ich die Emoticons auch! XD ... es kΓΆnnte aber auch daran liegen, dass es so spΓ€t ist... Ich denke, dass ich fΓΌr heute genug gezeichnet habe...
