Description The Ubuntu colour scheme reminds me of the old 1960's, early 70's kitchen appliance colours. The logo was perfect for a Mod fabric design! Inspite of that, I love it- ha! Ubuntu 9.04 for the "modren" girl!

Cute, a 60's housewife with a modern linux box.

...alas, I have never had much luck with Ubuntu, I'm a Slackware user, myself.

Thank you! I am a first time Ubuntu user, aside from having used several GTK/Linux based programs on Windoze, but so far, I am really enjoying it, and the set up was far simpler than when I bought my computer new with Vista pre-installed

wow, i think your idea of using the logo for a fabric print was great! very cleaver! and you are right, the colors are very 60's - 70's, reminds me does coutains, and sofas,( i tink that kind of print were in everything...xD)and that's why the potition of the girl and the way you are promoting this is very adoc, because is the kind of anoucements that were use at does decades. YOU DONE VERY WELL!

Thank you very much! Yes, they could have gone with the colour avocado green to complete the 60's, 70's colour theme- ha!

you are always welcome n.n
you are right! eeek >.< i hate does paterns o.o
i mean, in the time were cool but looking at them at the now days kitchens, well i'm more of the kind of the 50's modality (yey! i love 50's) , 60's -70's were very like saturated of brown-orange-yellow and the avocado, over a white layer. But talking about cloths, i will use a dress with a 60's-70's patern that's extrange xD

weeeeell i say it again : VERY GOOD JOB

sorry if i talk to much xD, i had been taking track of you since the cancer thing... i just loved your work, very 50's.
So keep on going ^^

Thank you! The Ubuntu logo made a perfect funky fabric pattern- ha! My clothes in high school (in the 80's) consisted of vintage late 50's and early 60's clothes, and I had a few "Jackie 'O" suits which came with the short (bolero) jackets with 3/4 length sleeves, "darts", and textured, fitted skirts, "dry clean only" fabric Loved those!

Wow, sounds like you have a great sense for fashion and style -- this was expressed very nicely in your wonderful work; my '80s attire consisted of jeans and 50 or so vintage sports coats I would find at Salvation Army stores and upscale men's clothing stores in San Francisco; my favorite was a cream white 1950s tuxedo jacket; oh, those were the days, lol.

I am an American, and my nickname since high school came from a song The B52's did in 1979, "Quiche Lorraine" I have mostly Scottish/Irish heritage, but I suspect a bit of French/Norman, from my maternal grandmother Gladeus Loraine Sergent- both Gladeus and Loraine are French names
