Description
Finally ready to unveil my next Colin Morgan Art Challenge drawing. This one is not after the style of a particular artist, but rather after a genre - Steampunk.11 x14"
6B, HB. 2H & 4H graphite pencils, 2B, HB & 2H mechanical pencils, blending stump, tortillon, Q-tip, electric eraser, tombow mono eraser.
51 hours.

Thank you! I did this for an art challenge, and I felt this background really added to the steampunk feeling and helped me meet my challenge requirements. It was a lot of work but I think it really rounded out the picture and gives it a finished feel. Thanks for your comment!

Thanks! I just try to draw what I see. The most difficult texture in this pic was actually the cast iron background, but the hat was kinda tricky too. The leather was not too bad.

The more you draw the quicker you'll get, never rush a piece though, i've done it and never been happy with the results
