Description Sedahians are the sentient beings of Sedah. They have both exo and endo skeletons (above waist, exoskeleton, below waist, endoskeleton). They are very large compared to humans and much stronger. They are one of the smartest ash feeders on the planet.

Their societies are very tribal and comparable to the native Americans of earth. Though some tribes have learned how to forge metal to a complex level (swords, armor, decorations, etc.). Many tribes are aggressive towards each other, having constant warfare with each other.

Sedahian breeding is vastly alien compared to humans. When two Sedahians are attracted to each other they touch palms. They start sending chemicals to each other, basically talking to each other without verbal speech. Then the male sends seminal fluid to the female and the fluid go's threw her palms and go's to her ovaries to complete the breeding process. This usually takes an hour to complete.

Sedahians can communicate verbally, but cant convey complex thought this way. Usually they produce airborne chemicals for prolonged and complex conversation.

Knowing how their sex drive works would be helpful in figuring our this species female. Like if its the males who impress the females or the other way around, and is sex an enjoyable act to the point of becoming recreational? The hand holding kinda stands out of their general hostile attitude, but provides a good contrast, along this line it would be cool if they mated for life to break the cliche of warmongers who rape anything that moves, but in order to keep up with the death rates, this would mean that the females would have to birth many children at once, and these youngling should be able to become quite self sufficient very quickly since becoming born, then maybe eggs would be the best solution. The gestation period of the eggs once layed should be longer than normal to give them enough time to develop to a self sufficient stage, but not too long to keep up with the death rates, so maybe nine months where the parents guard the eggs, at which point they are born pretty much moving and eating whole food already, after that about a year to grow to the size where they can hold weapons and fight, and another year for full speach capabilities. Adolescence (i.e. reproductuve capabilities) would probably hit at age 6 in this fast growth species, but there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to live until much much longer, and being able to reproduce does not mean their society would allow it, surely they would need to go through certain trials.

Those are my thoughts so far, if you answer those first questions I could deduce more, but first I would like to see if you agree with my thoughts

I agree with your thoughts completely. Though when it comes to eating food the Sedahians breath in the constant flow of nutrient rich ash in their atmosphere, so breathing and eating are the same thing to them. So with that fact stated would that effect how the young would feed? Also do think the female carrying her eggs would work?

Sedahian's only allow males who are the strongest or most clever to mate. The males arm size and hump size is found to be what attracts females. I would think that they find sexual interactions enjoyable and view it as a very sacred event, they have no concept of privacy when they do this.

This version looks more detailed than the previous "fighting" picture... Nice arm-hand anatomy!

Thanks, I messed up with the description though. Bellow its waist its suppose to be endoskeletal not exoskeleton.
