I finally finished it! Well, this was originally a black and white sketch for 's "Tales from the Moon." The scene is from the ending of Chapter Twenty-Three, when Kagome leaves Sesshoumaru to go back to her time. This is an emotional scene that touched me deeply, giving me many residual warm fuzzies.So, here's my interpretation of the scene, with a little waffyness and a somber light. I was trying to focus on Sesshoumaru in this picture because he seemed to be internally, going through a lot of emotions.
It's a great fic, and I recommend it HIGHLY!
The one thing that is different from the sketch is his armor. I forgot it, and added it later.
Done with Photoshop CS.

Beautiful. Just... the hair is my favorite part - it looks so silky and pretty and lovely. I love the shading, too, and the look on Sesshoumaru's face is just... perfect.

Uh well that's all well and good. But this scene is from a fanfiction someone wrote. So this scene isn't from the series or manga.
In my opinion, I don't think Sesshoumaru is a cold heartless asshole. He's cold, but his character is very complex. Even though he starts off as a manipulative killer, overtime his character grows. He's definitely not heartless if he lets a little girl, a two headed dragon, and a toad follow him around. He even saves Rin ALOT from danger. And he uses Tensaiga to SAVE people, and in order to do that, he has to have goodness in his heart, even if he doesn't always show it.

Oh! The coloring is so freakin beautiful! And the background is really nice, I like the yellow highlights in the leaves. And Kagome's hair is so pretty, like silk. Ah so pretty.
