HUUUUUGEE picture XP -and this is still the smaller .jpg version XD-
drew the outlines this morning and finished it around the middle of afternoon @3@
it makes a nice wallpaper, nope? (even if the size doesn't matches XD)
So we have a nice crossover pic from The Future of Kingdoms and Kingdoms : Rebirth featuring the 8 (!!) monarchs of the Kingdoms series made by Sephzero and me
The background map of Darien wasn't done by me XD it belongs to ATARI.

The map of Darien, epic as ever! However, these cards with the protagonists add such an atmosphere to the whole pic!! I faved this!!!

I have yet to find a complete map of Darien that includes Creon too.

I'm amazed that all this was inspired by a fantasy strategy game which in turn was building upon a futuristic strategy game which in turn inspired a spiritual succesor series. It boggles my mind that Thirsha, Kirenna, Elsin and Lokken are somehow thinly related to one of my favourite strategy games.

Yeah weird how Chris Taylor, they guy behind Total Annihilation is one of my favourite game designers. I never imagined he'd inspire something like this. Also I watched the TA: Kingdoms intro. Lol the original Lokken is actually some evil old guy and Elsin is a wise bearded monarch not some flustered bishi.

You know what's funny? Elsin is the older brother of Lokken. Lokken is the second youngest sibling with Kirenna being the youngest and Elsin the oldest. However the whole TA:K story is history where my (and Sephzero's) fan story starts.
And well, it is pretty much converted in a way so it would match the basic anime/manga notions (especially as our world will be involved). The whole idea is pretty complex, the original story is merely a base and a frame as well. I'm sure some old TA:K fans would simply facepalm at the sight of what I have done with the whole thing, but I do hope that the majority of people would enjoy the story.
As for the character looks, the new monarches are a lot younger and only resemble the siblings of the past.

That's truly fabulous work there. Fun little double-face cards play with them all played out there on the map of Darien. Such amusing suite setup for each one too. Great job.
