An entry to the Halloween contest at .I do not much like the American Halloween. 8D This is Finnish Halloween...and All Hallow's Eve is a more fitting name. On that day, you visit the graves of your loved ones and take some candles there. I like doing it at my home town - if it's dark enough, the whole graveyard is lit with candles, and in the best case, mirroring the starry sky.
This actually started out as an oekaki, but then my angsty computer Itachi did things, I was extremely annoyed, and finally finished it in openCanvas. I guess this time the gloomy feel in it is alright... A gray early-winter afternoon. It took far too much effort in relation to quality. >_<;
Indeed, Kisame and Suigetsu visiting the grave of their common friend Zabuza (and Haku as a bonus). I think I've forgiven Suigetsu for taking the sword.

Your Hallow's Eve sounds so respectful... The American Halloween just sucks! (no offense to anybody) I've once had an American Halloween and it was so boring~~ I don't really have Halloween but we(Iceland) have this kinda day in February, Mars or April or something Where kids go singing in shops and get candy. That also sucks.. Anyway I love the picture!! Kisame and Suigetsu really should visit Zabusa. Though Suigetsu already visited him when he stole/took his sword... Great job >.<

I like the Finnish equivalent of trick-or-treating, though... In Easter, kids dress up as witches, decorate willow branches and go around trading them for candy.

kisames headband comes very handy on winter days, doesnt it? i had a similar one when i was a kid...doesnt suigetsu have to freeze like hell leaning to that cold sword? and the water jutsu...he might even freeze! (god, the mental images of kisames tongue sticking to him like that, because he only wanted to have a lick...XD)
it wouldve been neat to see some tress in the bg, as you said, its kinda...blue like this.

I own a headband thing like that, too, but I find it very UN-handy because it keeps rising and makes my hair look stupid. Hmmm....I didn't want to put trees there because I sort of remember the place being on a ledge or something, overlooking the sea...no trees being behind them. And I feel it might have gotten too messy.... (Don't ruin my perfect deception now! There's nothing, but it's pretending to be an actual bg.... XD)

The one back home is essentially a park/garden with graves, I'd say. Lots of nice trees and shade... There's the church and a small church museum connected to it, too. ^_^
