I love how you combined the 3 heads, rather than just sticking 3 next to each other.

This is Baal, he is one of the demons found in the "Ars Goetia" of the "The Lesser Key of Solomon"

I thought he was the son of Dagon. JK, they just have the same name. Although tbh, this is the result of early Christians shitting on someone else's beliefs

You aren't wrong. Many of the "demons" found in the Ars Goetia are just demonized Gods of non abrahamic faiths.Β

Yeah, and I'm planning to implement them in some of my fantasy cartoons, only the gods are seperate entities from the demons. Kind of like someone trying to steal your identity

Although Ba'al is kind of hard to figure out, sense more than one god has that name

There are many different spellings. Bael is typically used for the Phoenician god of the same name.Β

You didn't do the classic "Cat next to Man next to Toad, all on a spider" pic that the old picture showed and Shin Megami Tensei copied verbatim! I once had a similar idea about matryoshka'ing the heads but the way you did it is inspired! I adore that Cheshire Cat grin melting into the eye bulges of the toad. Excellent work!

I think it is subjected as a merge between man, cat and toad. Just as the Cherubim: eagle, lion, bull, man.
I may be a misconception for artists to part the three (or four) from the one.
It is harder to merge, but when melded, the true form of these beings is revealed.
How to:
Use eyes, mouth, ears, horns and nostrils as averaged fixed points and meld and merge the other shapes together.
Since these are beings from reality but our subconscious, the image you produce might scare and disturb the viewer. (And in some known cases, possess the artist).

I completely agree, it's entirely subjective.
It all comes down to personal taste, in terms of artistic depiction and perception. Personally I like the idea of a slightly horrific, cerberus like mash up. These are "demons" so their perception of what is and isn't scary is far different from ours I would think.

Yes exactly. Ezekiel pictured Cherubim as four separate faces on the same being. So it is very subjective.
But it also varies in the same text. It is like metamorphosis of the dream clouds of imagination, or the subconscious metaphors of divine reality.
