Description I colored up a character that is based off the Winter War of 1939. I decided that this reindeer will be a Jager (hunter) armed with a Soumi M31 submachine gun. (9mm) That the Soviets captured and made their own copies called the ppSH-41 in 7.62X25.

I would like to spice this up a bit, add more background. I also need a decent Finnish name for the 'Bear Hunter', sort of how Simo Hayha, Finland's greatest Sniper is called 'White Death'.

Am i the only one who thinks, that, if US millitary just lend part of their toys to Finns, they'd wiped clean those fuckers from Königsberg to Anadyr in like few months?

The Finns were the only ones who actually made the Brewster F2A Buffalo work effectively, unlike the US Navy. But in 39, there was a huge "Don't get involved in European wars" attitude in the states, so the US pretty much stayed out. It took the Brits almost being crushed in 1940 to do Lend Lease.

But I could see the Finns effectively using the Thompson against the Soviets.

No, I mean now. Russians get too cocky with every year, despite being nothing but usless drunktards. Fucks call for it - better deliver. After all, there's like only 150 mil. of them and population is declining. All of their gear is ancient and soldiers are unmotivated cowards, unable to handle even that antique trash. As for the nukes: their cowardly attitude will not let them launch enough, and those launched will be fuck-old and easy to intercept.

Don't bet on that, Their ground to air missile systems are on par if not better than the US systems,Their artillery outnumbers the US 3-1. Their battle rifles are better than what the US has, easier to maintain, less fragile. Their latest tanks equal to the M1A Abrams, Their Nuclear sub fleet is double the size, Their aircraft is excellent, their transport aircraft bigger, longer ranged.  Their navy outguns the US in every way. Putin wants to be the new Stalin and has been  upgrading and beefing up the military. Now back in the mid-90s, I'd agree with you.

'The US only has them on aircraft carriers.

The "Beefing up" part is exaggerated. They only begun to produce newer systems, and will not have any sufficient ammount of 'em ready in at least a decade. Not to mention them talking that those systems are too expencive for the country (effectively canceling them, so no T-14/15, no SU-57, and the list goes on...). Ground-to-air systems showed their "effectiveness" in Syria (not being able to deffend themselfs, let alone grant area-denial). The army reformation is still in progress as well, with a handful of poorly trained contract soldiers, and the rest still being cannon-fodder grade conscripts. in another words, if there is a time to wipe them out, it's nearest decade or so. Later, they might actually have somewhat of a chance to fight back.

Ha! Nice work! As a Finn, I approve this!

I've yet to have a Finn disapprove. Most Finns regard Mannerheim as a hero, Hayha as a Hero and the Russians today with suspicion.

And I will second all of those.
