Oh hell, it's more fanart.There's something about these two that turns me into a disgusting little pile of fangirl goo. I don't know what it is. I didn't even LIKE Iron Man before the movie. I still don't like comics Iron Man. Go figure.

As a side note, I didn't even know who Iron Man WAS before the first movie, but my best friend said "OMG you MUST go see it it's so awesome!" So I went to see it just to shut her up.

They did a lot of horrible things to Tony in the comics...beyond the usual comic take of raping everyone into fifty different 'Verses *comic fan*.
And movie!Stark had a lot of redeeming qualities you never see in the comics. Nice art, btw >_>;;;

I meant to comment on this when I faved it... There are a couple of arcs of the comics that look intriguing but like you, I had no interest before the movie. And Tony/Pepper turns me into fangirl goo too xD The trailer for Iron Man 2 only confirmed this.

I'd definitely recommend Matt Fraction's current run on Invincible Iron Man- I'm not overly fond of the art, but the story is fantastic.
