Ok, this took AGES and a lot of different things to add to the final affect.. I haven't tried the corpse-type thing at all, so this was my first attemptNimue is a mount for a character of mine, Ailita, who managed to bridle a Kelpie (Nimue)
Kelpie can allude to being pretty and flawless, but once they ensnare a rider on their backs they dive deep underwater and devour said rider, thus the blood and creepy look, so yeah, this was FUN FUN FUN to do

I've been thinking of redoing it, it's such an old picture and i've improved a lot since then, but i don't know if i'll have time. I'm trying to get back into manipping but college takes a large chunk of my time and my bf has been monopolizing the rest of it XD

thank you ^-^ I just remembered reading that Kelpie's tend to mask themselves as beautiful white horses, and the first choice that came to mind was Tam, but I still needed to capture the creepy man-eating side of the Kelpie, thus the look. ^^ Glad you think it's awesome
