Description
I drew this over the past few nights.It's a pinko fucker with the accurate, yet cumbersome Dragunov SVD sniper rifle.
Yeah, the Germans make far better weapons.

Very well done! And, despite of what other people said, the gas mask is correct. That is an East German SCHMS Schutzmaske made for the DDR troops, especially for snipers. The eye lenses are created to be used with optical scopes (like the PSO-1 scope for the Dragunov) and they are facing straight to the front of the mask (not like other masks, where the eye lenses are positioned a bit to the sides, like the GP-5). Also, the hose allows the sniper to lay on the ground and to aim through the sight, a thing that would be difficult if you had the filter next to your face.

never dis the dragunov... german guns do rock, but the dragunov ranks higher than the sturmgwer on many peoples fave list...

i like the person. the shading is great. but Dragunov? it isnt any near to Dragunov. it looks kinda like a parody of SVD. sorry I cannot accept that.

eyes abit too wide though, the mask is huge, so you can only see the right eye but not soo much the left.

noice, lovin that actual soviet gas mask. thats an odd looking dragunov like a neo version of it nice although i would think it a bit hard to snipe with a gas mask on

Perhaps, but I'll bet a gas mask would make it easier to snipe when sarin is being dumped on you. . .
. . . Anyway, I didn't really think too hard on it. . . I just found a photo in a magazine, and thought it would make a cool drawing. If I recall correctly, there didn't appear to be anything unique about the rifle, but it was a couple years ago, so I dunno.

Very nice MArk S would have loved it .. very good gradation with pencil people already pointed out the eye thng. But the gun is great I remembering doing a pic like this and I totally wonked the gun. so good job

Wow!! This is fantastic! I was astounded by the detailn and then I noticed the woodgrain on the gun stock and I found myself on the floor. Wonderful!

It's very very good! Only one complaint (besides the eyes of course!) is that his right arm has that outline and it's sort of distracting...but not extremely. Very well done indeed!
