Okay kids, all together now: AWWWWWWW, 'ees so kyooooooot....
Lenny the Dragon says: "...And I will HAVE my kitty, and I will call him Fluffykins and he will be MY Fluffykins, and I will love him and hug him, and I will stroke his pretty fur and smooth his pretty whiskers, and he is Fluffykins because he is MY Fluffykins and I will lick him and lick him until he's AAAAALLLL clean..."
Two points if any of you have actually read Of Mice and Men and know what the heck I'm rambling about... (And thank you MysticSlayer14 for correcting me on the book title - sheesh...)
There comes a point and time in which I must say, "Today I simply don't feel like drawing bloodthirsty monsters from outer space. Today I wanna draw a fluffy kitty cat and a horribly cute and cuddly dragon." Fifty hours and fourteen purple colored pencils later, I'm ready for more bloodthirsty monsters. But that's beside the point.

The book is more sad than anything else; the old Warner Brothers cartoons were spoofing it in a serious way. Lenny is instantly loveable, yes, but he is also a really tragic character.

What the dragon says makes me think of Bugs Bunny with the abominable snowman.

That was my inspiration, actually. That whole schpeil came from a book called The Grapes of Wrath, and there was a Lenny in that story who talked rather a lot like that abominable snowman.

Of Mice and Men is a novel set in the Dust Bowl era of American history. I found it rather dull and a bit sad; the Warner Brothers cartoons that spoof it are much more fun. Most American students read this novel in the course of their high school English classes.

Probably, though I do not remember individual titles. There were various characters that played the "Lenny" bit - the abominable snow man, a big black and white cat reminiscent of a retarded Sylvester, and maybe a couple of others.
