Yaoi has been suggested five times where I'm at in the game. Three between Gaius and two between Carlos. XD I wish RF gave the option of having the protagatist being gay. Maybe in RF5...Just maybe.

You play as a girl, but you have the option to wear boy's clothes and hairdo.
You still walk like a girl tho, which is very uncomfortable to watch.

you know what is funny too in the new Rune Factory 4 on the 3DS you can do Sprite change so if you play as a girl you can turn your sprite in a boy and even your avatar picture change with it but the character still see you as the girl sooooo yaoi time XD

You can customize your character and oh how wonderful it is that you can wear the opposite gender's clothes and hairstyles. So you can pretend to be a boy while playing a girl, then court boys.
You still have a "girly" face and walk and stand like a girl (which is unfortunately something Natsume did too well) buuuuuuut that's a small price to pay for yaoi rp fun.
