Been working on this on and off for the past few days. 'Tis some kind of shaman and her smilodon companion trekkin' through some woods! And it seems that the stocky smilodon (who I shall now refer to as Tankbutt) has spotted something that he does not like. Perhaps an intruder from a rival Clan?I should try painting an action scene next, instead of having more random characters just standing around while stuff happens off-screen |D

I think I would like to see a little bit more contrast in the background just to make the characters pop out a weee bit more... and maybe something in the foreground to break up the open space a bit.
Aside from that, you're pretty much awesome.

aww haha thanks so much Jay-beanz! xD Yar, I agree with your comment about how the foreground needs something in it to break up the space-- I think I tried to put in some leaves and ferns but overdid it, so I left it as is |D 'Tis something I need to practice more!

I can't take my eyes off her knee xD that's some epic shading and that bit of perspective I think is so hard to do, you totally nailed it. I also love the textures...like his teeth
