Ulrich: Hmm.. Yellowcake Plateau? That sounds intriguing.
Paulina: Certainly it is, not literally U3O8 but that tantalizing yellow treat. Y'know thats what you'll expect placing at the bakery section of convenience stores. Im expecting some Polish poppy seed cakes near the plateau, right in the Gateaux Mounts.
Leandra: Brace ourselves guys, only a few steps away from the Gateaux Mountains Region.
Wladzia : Where shall we venture first, Im pretty damn starved now..
Vladislav: *munch* (chewing a gummy die) I don't fcking care (drools)
Jerzy, Ulrich: Stop it Mister Uranium, you're so disgusting !!
Leandra: Well, forget this lad, continue on to the ropeway to the Summit. Stibium said that scenery from the peak is extraordinary, its a waste not reaching the summit of the Gateaux Mounts
Paulina: Actinium, Radium,come here!! Many traditional Polish and French treats on the peak, we'll be making fortunes establishing the Radium Institute Candy Bar. At least they supply us for hundreds of years, don't forget the candy blizzards.
Jerzy: Any Krowki (Polish milk fudge) right here, I've unearthed this rock candy crystal mine. Sparkling, lustrous crystals, lovely site for candy mining. Or we might build a candy kingdom from scratch with these resources.
Leandra: Freeze! Dangerous suspect detected and btw Jerzy you might have played too much minecraft lately.
Vladislav: Kudos to who created this Kingdom, praises to the Lord. Right I've abundant ideas for my new recipes on cakes and pastry, just wait and see my microscopic version of the Yellowcake Plateau (Funny enough that this lil warhead and mad scientist is actually a devout Christian xD)
Ulrich: Even for a scaled down cake model, it'll be supplying years for our food. Gosh, lovely ice cream sandwiches near the jelly treeline. You can't simply spot them at the lowlands.
Wladzia: This place... is saddening *cries*
Paulina: What the hell you're talking about!? You gonna miss the Danish Karst landscape there, thats your paradise with all those berry farms.
Leandra (stops mocking arrest on Uranium) Whats up there?
Jerzy:Maybe Radium is homesick after discovering rich reserves of Polish gummies and Paczki on the peak...
Wladzia: *weeps and wipes tears * It'd be better staying aside... this may soothe a bit...

Vladislav , Ulrich: Maybe we should assign Paula accompanying Radium, thats the only way coping with her homesickness

Design concept:
Well this piece is destroying my aquarell pencils, had used almost every colour in my set. My wallet is again cursing at me when I'm short with earth tones and purples. Dang, they tend to cost a lot >.< Wait till Derwent Earth tone series are on sale this summer, also for the premium Faber AD series. I realised that my student ID has already expired after graduation, no ID=no cheap buying in bulk.
Alright, the yellow cake is the obvious pun on U3O8, an intermediate product of uranium metal from ores. That's the reason why the United Forces (I tend to call collab characters in that way) travelled to the Yellowcake Plateau. There're millions of chocolate, candies and pastry scattered along the landscape, which are scaled up for tens and hundreds of times. They can reach up a person's height (around 172-173cm, the characters' average height). Also the glowing jam oozing out from the yellow cake: indicates the radio- luminescence of the elements (stereotype Uranium lime green to blue).
Why I delibrately put Actinium, Radium and Polonium together on the macaron cliff with candies? They belong to the French squad: Po and Ra are Polish-French discoveries. Moreover, Actinium may be considered as the Curie's' "abandoned child": the element itself was discovered from the pitchblende residue after the discovery of Polonium and Radium by the Curies. Seems that Actinium is living under the shadow of elements #84 and 88. They all deposit in pitchblende in minute amounts. As macarons are one of the most recognisable French specialties worldwide, it's reasonable for them stepping on a cliff with macarons. Worth noticing are the Polish watermelon like gummies around Polonium and also berries (common fruits in Poland). Those features echoes the French- Polish achievements to radio-chemistry. FYI: the trio all have Polish blood, Ra is almost purebred (Ac is half RU half PL)
The elements also marked their Atomic numbers on treats: like the Pb cake, ice cream sandwich and a "89" Rock candy (Actinium's favourite food next to Krowki milk candy).
