I've wanted to draw Brightheart for so long but I've never had the skill. She's one of my favorite characters from Warriors and by far one of the most inspirational.Most people only seem to draw her with the eye and ear gone but I have a hard time believing she doesn't have scars all over her body from the dogs.
I've been working on and off on this as a stress reliever the past few days. I think it took me around 8 hours total.
Program used was Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 and I use a Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet, which are no longer being made.

The lighting and warm colors look so nice together! The style is also very realistic but easy to understand. Love it! You clearly put lots of time and effort into this.

I don't think her left eye would look like that. Β What I mean is, it looks like it's been stitched. Β Really it should probably look exactly like the rest of that side of her face.

No offense but it's really rude to point out stuff like this in people's artwork. You may be right, she might have blue eyes, but in my opinion every artist has a different interpretation of the characters they choose to draw. just like how you may picture the ThunderClan camp, I may picture it differently (: as an artist you should know that we put a lot of time and effort into our works and it's unfair to just blatantly tell someone the way they picture a character is wrong.Β

OK I understand the whole camp thing, but really; when it states in the book what color EYES she has you should at least do that. Like how spottedleaf is colored differently everywhere and redtail. Even the most simple cats like Bluestar are colored differently

that's a good point but I've read parts of the book where Brightheart has green eyes and I've read parts where it states green. Considuring Erin Hunter is a team of four different authors, they do make mistakes, and some people prefer one way rather than the other based off personal preference. for example some have illustrated Bluestar's kit, Mosskit, as a male. some have drawn the kit as female. it's all personal preference wether or not the wiki says so.
