For Keisuke, a friend of mine from Japan.I decided to try out my colored pencils some more, but this time in colored paper, since I've had fun experimenting with prismas on colored paper before... AND it'd been quite a while since I did a serious try at a big cat, soooo here's a tiger.
my high school's mascot is the tigers, and as this was my last week of high school, I thought it'd be fitting to draw something to commemorate the past few years and all I've learned.
Once a tiger, always a tiger... I'm gonna miss these years, I know. *tilts head*
this picture looks especially good from far away.. XD

Wow, I totally love this picture, it's so lovely! My Highschool mascot was the Tigers too, the Hurricane Tigers! Best school ever! lol. Just a great job on the whole thing!

Yeah! That's the highschool I went to! I didn't graduate from there, but I wish I had. I was in 9th and 10th grade there! That was in 04-06ish.

thank you! and thanks for the watch, too. Prismas just take practice and a good sense of color blending... don't worry, you'll get it eventually. There's prolly some good tutorials around da too if you search for them.

Wow. You did a great job of giving him depth. His eyes are so full of feeling. Also, you've got color theory down really good... I'm always afraid to use that much purple for shadows, but the way you did it here is the way it should be. Very nice!!
