Description Still trying to pin down Sugimori style... I WILL HAVE YOUR SECRETS SUGIMORIIIIIII... and my lineart always looks like shit. I need a scanner.

Also hey, first mega, for one of my favorite pokemon who is already super op and probably will never need one;

MEGA Aegislash
Steel/Ghost
Triple Blade: Each of this pokemon's attacks strike three times. Once at 100% power, A second time at 20% power, and a third time at 20% power (Like parental bond but with a little less damage per hit 140 total compared to 150 total, but with the additive of an extra ATT boost when using his signature move).
Royal Sword Pokemon
6'03"
186.8 lbs
HP: 60
ATT: 180
DEF: 60
SpA: 130
SpD: 50
SPE: 110
Total: 620

Where he gets the Doublade from is anybody's guess.

Also if Aegislash knows the move King's Shield when he mega evolves, it is replaced with King's Sword

King's Sword|Steel|Physical|10 PP|50 ATT|100 ACC| Strikes the foe with a quick royal strike, raising Attack by one stage. This move always goes first.

I would literally never/never need to use another pokemon again if this were real and not just fantasy. A boy can dream.

The design is really fucking awesome, and I like how the concept caters to Aegislash users who want to go all-out offensive without having to worry about King's Shield mindgames or anything.

However, in terms of authenticity, there are two 'flaws' in the stat boosts, so to speak.
Here's what I mean, if you want to know:

- When a Pokémon changes forms mid-battle, it can't change base HP, likely because the game wouldn't know what to do with the transformed Pokémon's remaining health. So if you care for that, then base HP should stay at 60.

- This Mega adds 130 points to the stat total, while official ones always add 100 (Alakazam only adds 90, but that's offset by normal Alakazam's buff). This guy will be tough to nerf while still keeping it a threat, though. If you want to take my advice, that 10 extra base HP would already be gone, so then it's up to you how to revise the other stats to get rid of those 20 points.

There's always that rare chance that GF could give Aegislash the extra 20 points in HP in future generations (while keeping it's remaining BST the same), Aegislash would love to have some HP so it can actually function in its role better.

Lunatone and Solrock got 20 extra points in their HP stats in Gen VII (which really wasn't needed for them, if anything they should have gotten a power buff to Special Attack and Attack or even Speed for that matter), why can't other Pokemon (this includes Dusknoir and Dugtrio who are both dying for a massive HP boost) get a similar buff? (granted I'm betting Dugtrio will get an evolution at some point in the future).

GF seriously needs to buff all of the older Pokemon's stats so they can be a decent match against the growing threat of Megas and Z-Move users.

Also Mega Alakazam got an extra 10 points to it's Special Defense stat in Gen VII (to fix the error that they did in Gen VI).

That's absolutely possible, but buffing base Aegislash's HP wouldn't validate a boost given to it by a Mega Evolution. For as far as we know right now, Zygarde's Power Construct is the only transformation of this kind that does that. It only serves to act as more of a reason for the Mega to buff the other stats instead. I even think that's exactly what they're planning with Solrock and Lunatone for a future game.

And besides, buffing the older Pokémon is pretty much what they've been doing. Just look at Pelipper and Masquerain. I'm sure there's plenty of others that need to be boosted in a similar way, but I think it's actually more efficient that they've been doing a handful per Gen since 6.

True (I still want Aegislash's HP buffed regardless (and yeah a Mega on Aegislash would be too broken, but granted you have already OP'ed Megas anyways) so it can take hits better in Shield Form (this means that Blade Form's base Defense/Special Defense might need a nerf to balance out, same goes for Shield Form's two offensive stats as well).

But I'm getting sick of GF giving literally every Ghost type (sans Giratina and Driftblim who are the only lucky ones to get high HP stats (I do think the other two Ghosts types in Gen VI that evolve by trade counts as well) horrid HP stats, Dusknoir is supposed to be a beastly tank, but he only has 45 base HP? (you'd think a tank deserves more HP than that since if you're going to tank opponents hits, you'd need a bit more HP to outlast them).

Thanks for taking the time to explain that lol, I didn't know about the HP buff, I'll get that changed. And yeah I think I knew about the stat difference but wanted to be biased and give him a little extra haha. I'll get it fixed when I get home from work. And yeah I love kings shield but it can be really frustrating if you get out-predicted. I would be more than accepting if it was replaced with a priority steel attack that's also a power up punch haha.

Mega Aegislash gets Doublade the same way Diglett, Magnemite, and Beldum evolve.
