Happy new year everyone,I had little time to whip up something. Finally snowed up here in Canada, so now I can start hating it like a good immigrant, as tradition goes.Β

Really, first snow in Canada at the same day as here in the middle of Europe? And I always thought, thanks to tv and movies, that in Canada is snow all the time. Now I only wonder if it stays with you, because here it is already melted.

Mmm, hello sweetness. Love that smug expression and the hand placement enhances it by giving the piece a mood of, "Who? me? Couldn't be." The lighting cascades soft and simply from right to the left. It captures the form, while touching up the value creating some divine color harmony! Speaking of which, your use of cold colors is good! What's really nice is how you use warm colors for the face to provide color contrast. An awe inspiring awesome piece. I always get a kick out of your style. Wish I could paint like you. At the very least, thank you for making this! Helps me understand your strength and how to be strong in turn.
