Description Overall i really hate the lighting, i tried for 3 days to get that crap right but this is as close as i got and somehow while trying to make see through curtains i made them giant sheets of silicone
at least it feels good to know that the first things i ever textured were those H mangas

dont be so hard on yourself. the texturing is great and i think you did a great job copying the picture you were aiming to recreate. im doing a little vray project myself right now but its nothing compared to what you have here. did you have to uvw unwrap alll the textures you used on the mangas? that must have taken forever. and was the japanese symbol on the red wall a texture too or did you have to make it?

thanks, for they books they all used the same uv just with a little change to match each ones height and spine dimensions
but man i never realized how much you have put in to make the uv's usable, they start all kinds of screwed up, high poly models must be a bitch
o and the jap symbols were literally just magic wanded from the original picture with some smooth filter in photoshop(i cant believe that worked)

no way you little bidoof! you did that in post work! what a fetus! lol no thats the right way to go it was much easier and much more efficient. i cant imagine how frigging hard it must be to do the unwrap on a really high poly model. i think i might want to stick to modeling and leave the texturing to someone else later on haha

what, oh i think you got it mixed up
i made the jap texture in photoshop by just magic wanding the one from the image, so technically i guess it is uv'ed on there but i wouldnt even call it that. It was literally select big face, unwrap, apply material, BAM, Japanese wall

yeah i get that. you selected the big black jap symbols and had it all by iself as an image and applied it as a map
