Step 1. Place the focal point. This is where the image will be focused. Since the attention will be there, the main point of the picture should be there. The focal point can be put anywhere, even off the page or art board.

Step 2. When drawing the objects, the sides will always go toward the focal point. The face of the object (in this case, the lighter grey square) is not effected if you are looking directly at the object.

Step 3 (more like step 2.5). If you are not directly facing the object, two focal points can be used.

Step 4. Windows will be affected in the same way as walls or sides.
