"I'm just a nice leopard that wants to be left alone."
Since I saw the sneak peek of the episode "The Trouble with Galagos" I wanted to draw Badili!! Not entirely happy with his pale palette so I modified it with Photoshop's filters to make the colors a bit warmer (and reddish). Btw I love his incredibly big eyebrows and his outlander-ish cheeks (I mean, his head is pretty elongated like that of Scar or Zira, despite the rest of Badili's features being mostly prideland-ish).
Random background is random, but oh well.

I don't think the Pridelander genepool vs Outlander genepool would apply to a completely different species, but like I get what you're saying?

I wasn't talking about genetics, but rather the artstyle that all the feline characters share ^^' for example Badili's nose shape is clearly pridelander (like Simba's) but Makucha's nose is clearly outlander (like Scar's). All the feline characters are drawn in a similar style, so there are traits they will share no matter the species.

I know what you mean but like on a genetic point of conversation it wouldn't apply, but you can use environment as a clue, but also it's more a matter of character design.
With the pridelander/outlander thing it's 2 different halfs of a pride with one et of gene expression

He's indeed a nice leopard, but he himself said that he lived in the Mihiri Forest , which ins't in the Pridelands

Sinceramente no me gusto el diseño de Badili de la seri (parecía un gato flacucho XD , y sus bigotes totalmente tiesos le daban un aspecto bastante tonto en mi opinión) pero tú le has hecho muy apuesto!!!
Aunque hablando de leopardos prefiero a Makucha
(tanmbien me gusta de Badili que su voz la hace el mismo doblador que hizo a Feliz en Rompe Ralph ^^)

En general, Badili me recuerda a una especie de Nuka (si imaginamos a Nuka sano) pero en leopardo. Y sobre Makucha, pienso que es el mejor leopardo hasta la fecha, también es muy probable que al ser el primero en aparecer en TLG, quisieran hacerle ver más claramente como un leopardo, a lo "prototipo de", aunque no me termina de convencer que todos los leopardos tengan un pelaje tan tan pálido, cualquiera diría que no les da el sol!

Yes, he kind of reminds me of Nuka with his thin body when compared to the other, bulkier leopards shown in TLG (mostly Makucha).
And now I just need to find the episode online so I can watch it xD
