Description Just a horse. 9" by 12", watercolour. My next show is near Augusta, and there are a lot of "horse people" in that area, so I figured I'd better have a few horse paintings when I go.

It's a rare event for our town to have a visitor from Egypt, and everyone is getting really excited about it. I just hope she's not too disappointed in the gallery - it's a pretty small place. I have visions of her saying, "I flew halfway around the world for this!?!" I talked to her on the phone for a few minutes, too - she's so nice! ^_^

You must not worry about that at all.. I have talked to her earlier and she is very happy for participating and very excited to visit your town

Thanks very much! That green worked quite a bit better than I expected it would. Glad you like it! I spent the evening practising little green sumi-e birds - Maybe I'll get one posted today.

You always do a wonderful job on the eyes and the animals' fur. This is no exception. And that background makes the horse stand out nicely

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the work on the harness - I think by trying to get a little extra detail here and there, it gives the impression that overall there's more detail than there actually is.

Well, I had a Russian phrasebook when I was a kid, and I carried it around for a long time. So (because I was a kid) I know a lot of the rude words, too. I worked in a Russian bakery for a while, so I had to learn words like ΠΏΠΈΡ€ΠΎΠ³, Π±ΡƒΡ‚Π΅Ρ€Π±Ρ€ΠΎΠ΄Π° and Ρ…Π»Π΅Π±Π° as well.
