Description There's a bit of a battle going on in the motor industry, it seems, and it concerns which manufacturer can come up with the largest front grilles. Audi have been very proud of their large, single-frame grille, while Mercedes have approached their recent front end designs with the apparent intention of making their cars look like the front end is in the process of exploding outwards. And then there's this, from Lexus. I can't say that the grille appeals to me, in all its wide-open gaping hugeness, but the rest of the car behind it is nicely sleek and long, exactly what you'd expect from a futuristic prestige concept. Plus, it's blue. Who doesn't like blue??

I do like the blue! I'l agree that the grille isn't my favourite either, but whenever Lexus are willing to experiment and make something look 'interesting' and/or 'sleek' I try not to complain because I salute the effort. And this is rather cool looking! The angle you got of it really accentuates the look too, I think.

Experimentation is all well and good, but Lexus do seem to be transferring that sort of grille to their production cars, which I'm not so keen on. Still, everything behind that is pretty good looking.
