Prints available on my website www.bethmccarleyphoto.comA night under the milky way and magellanic clouds at Deadvlei, in Sossusvlei, Namibia. Deadvlei means “dead marsh.” The trees here are believed to be about 900 years old, but have not decomposed because the environment is so dry.

I did not, but wish I could have. There is a very strict curfew and you can only stay after dark for a few hours with a permit.
