Another drawing finally finished, had it sitting half done in my sketchbook forever because real life is busy busy right now. I kept changing bits and trying to redraw it to death before I got to this point. I think I'm happy with it now... yeah. About 90% happy anyway. Hope you guys enjoy it! Hooray for Cicero fluff!

When I saw this, first I was like NO! Then I was like YES! Now I'm torn between worlds...
To me, Cicero was never one to act on anything past friendship, and even his idea of friendship is abusive and questionable.
But this still stirred some feels! Idunno what to think!

Very much so, and now I'm sad I killed him. I think, next time, I'll let him live, because the remaining DB members were the boring ones, so I'd rather have Cicero than stupid brat vampire and boring redguard.

Cicero has some of the best commentary when you're traveling through the different cities too. Some of his Riften comments are laugh out loud funny.

Oh you didn't know! Yeah! Not only that, but he's one of the higher level ones and he can ACTUALLY sneak. Not like most companions that get you caught if they walk too close. He's a pretty awesome companion.

The thing I find most annoying about companions is, once they're seen, they don't try to hide again, but go charging into ridiculous odds and consequently die! I'm always a sneaker in Skyrim (probably because I'm a natural coward) and whenever I'm seen, I run away and then hide again before continuing on. Wish they could program your companions to do the same as you. After all - you're the boss! They should do what you do.

You can to an extent, but after that it depends on the companions individual strengths. But yeah, you can't tell them "If it hits the fan, run and hide!!" That would actually be cool. I wonder if they won't add some Dragon Age style tactics to the next game?

Well, they can add in selectable companion tactics ONLY if the gameplay doesn't end up like Dragon Age, because that's the only thing I hate about the series. Could also be due to the fact I suck at that style of gameplay and die continuously...

Lol, it takes some getting used to. But imagine you could just incorporate one or two tactic commands in. Like, if my guy gets below 90% health, use a healing potion on me! How nice would that be?

It would've been funny if they'd added in "discrete zapping of Alistair when he's not looking" tactic with her. That would've made sense!
So you'd recommend actually changing the tactics? Suppose I'm game to give it another go. Only played DA2 once through and did it so badly, too...

For sure! How you change the tactics depends on your characters fighting style and which party members you go charging in with! It's been a while since I played so I don't know how well I'd remember the specific tactics. But a good example would be making sure your mages stick to using long range spells (so they'll get their butts out of your way if you're a fighter) and that they heal party members when they're down to maybe 30% health? Sometimes the regular tactic has them healing too much or too little. You don't want them depleting all their mana if you can help it. I also usually set my tank (it's usually Alistair) to defend my character by using his overpower/shield bash etc on anyone who is attacking me. You can also set your party members to use a health potion if their health is less than 25% and that can usually save you during long battles (but again, you don't want to lose all your health potions if you can help it..)
I don't know if that's helpful, but my best advice is try to pay attention to why your characters take damage and then adjust a tactic to counteract that. That way you don't have to keep switching between party members constantly and trying to figure out what's going on every second of the battle. Especially if you're in a crazy hard battle!

I generally die because I charge in there and start hacking at the ankles of dragons by myself when I'm a rogue.

Definitely don't hack dragon ankles when you are a rogue. Let fighters hack ankles for you while you sneak around to the back. XD
And with the dragon battles the key to a sure win is one of the mages hexing the living daylights out of them (check the hexes here: dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Entro… and then using the warmth balms that protect everyone from fire. So much success!

I learn very slowly. Charging in guns blazing/swords flailing is generally how I start all my fights.

We call that the ol' "hack and slash" approach. I usually hack and slash my first time through, and if that doesn't work then I get tactical.
