Marianne c'est la petite
tam, pod tą gołą ścianą
łokciem rozmazuje łzy
twarz ma bladą i małą
na tym wąskim wysokim
z wiejącymi wstążkami
w ciasne drzewo oprawny
odjechał ukochany
słono świeci samotność
i barwę ma zieloną
dwoje oczu przez palce
pod ścianą taką stromą

with elbow smudges the tears
her face looks blanched and small
on the tall the narrow
with ribbons unfurled
framed in the tight wood
departed the beloved
salty glistens solitude
