Ugh color picking is so ridiculously hard. -_- I realized I love doing teeth. I used to be terrible at them, like REALLY bad so I never drew them and then I decided I was going to force myself to do it and now I can. \^_^/ lol Kyo doesn't have bad teeth, he has awesome teeth.(I wish to god I had his, seriously, i love them) If he has bad teeth then my teeth are the creepiest things on earth because mine are weirder than his and I've kinda grown to like mine. There's a HUGE difference between crooked teeth and bad teeth. I don't see the point in fixing something aesthetically and wasting thousands of dollars if there's nothing physically wrong with it.

He used to have bad teeth, but I thought it was kinda cute~ Or a least some pictures just do not do these guys justice..
He's had braces, though. lulz in some pictures I noticed his canines are super pominant, he looks like a litte demon >w< I know he had really crooked teeth, heck mine are terrible, but maybe 'bad' wasn't the rght word? Maybe certain pitures just make everyone's teeth look awful. I've seen Kyo with some really bad teeth, and not even just crooked. Same with Tosihya. Not every photo of Diru is perfect~ Especially ones fans take when they're on stage. They make some of the best macros 'cuz I just dont know wat was going on TwT

Some pictures don't do them justice no. He's never had braces though. I'm obsessed with his teeth, they're so adorable I take screencaps of them whenever I can in case I need to draw them. But the only difference between the old days and now are that they're alot whiter than they used to be. They're still every bit as crooked. I think Die had his done before the band, I seem to remember an older interview where he said he had bad teeth and got them fixed. The only one who's had braces is Toshiya and they changed his voice alot. That's what my dentist told me too. If I straightened my teeth it would completely change the way I talk, which is probably a big reason why Kyo never fucked with his. His voice is kind of his lifeline and his are alot bigger than mine so his voice would probably change alot. I'm still sad that Toshiya "fixed" his because now he talks funny and he smiles even less than he used to. :/God, J from Luna Sea got his done several years back and his voice is completely different. X__X Sometimes it's not worth it. I used to think about getting mine done. Mine are almost all baby teeth still and they're crooked and incredibly small:

People always made fun of me, but now I think I wouldn't look like myself with new teeth and since I actually have less tooth damage than most of my friends with good looking teeth I'd just as soon keep them the way they are. I dunno, since I have odd ones I'm kind of obsessed with people's teeth, in all shapes and sizes. They're fascinating. Sorry, I didn't mean to write something this long, it's just an interesting subject for me. ^^

Really? I swear I can see braces on Kyo in several music videos, one more prominent being Obscure. I guess it was just for show? Nevertheless. His teeth are adorable, yes <3 I never actually knew they changed your voice, but I kinda did, if that makes sense? i mean, I guess for me it makes sense they would since your voice is made by by the sound waves that come from your vocal chords and hit your mouth and teeth... I never wanted to get mine done. I know I have crooked teeth but I wouldn't want them done. I have noticed Toshiya's subtle behavior change since, I guess it really wasn't just me~ I loved his crooked smiles, though TwT
If Kyo's voice changed, I wouldn't know whether to cry or to root for him >> I think I'd do both. His voice is so majestic, to me. His screams, his vibrato, soprano and alto (if you could call it that)just all of it. I guess i have a similar obsession with people's voices. I adore Atsushi Sakurai's voice, I like Kamijo's couple of voice ranges (or at least both his nasal-y and non-nasal-y voice from Versailles and Lareine), I just really love that romantic alto sound especially Klaha. I wish Klaha could have done more in both solo and Malice Mizer <3, but Kyo has such an incredible range in both nonsensical sounds and screams/growls that make it sound like he's choking, gasping, and drowning at the same time and his actual singing. I find his change of singing style exciting. I think of 'what will his voice be this time?' I love it. And I adore how the band members and Kaoru's compositions really give out the emotion that Kyo brings to the stage. The angry lyrics are accompanied by angry music and its hateful without being incoherent like I hear in so many metal bands.

Yeah alot of people thought he had braces in Saku and Clever Sleazoid but they're just grills : [link] You can see how they fit over his real teeth, which is why they looked so bulky. ^^

Oh god, if Kyo's voice changed I'd be sad, especially if the other jrockers that got theirs done are any indication. X_X OMG no, you're not the only one with Toshiya. It kills me that he never smiles anymore. For some reason I remember something where he mentioned Angie (that big eyed model that dated half the jrock world in the 90s, including Toshiya) and her not wanting to kiss him because of his teeth. It could have just been a rumor or something, info was sometimes sketchy then, and he didn't get his teeth done for a long while after that supposedly took place so who knows. It might just be bullshit, but all I know is that he used to smile and look happy and now he never smiles and when he does he looks uncomfortable. It kills me because he used to be so happy and now he seems so depressed all the time. :/

Do you even know what happened to Klaha? I know he disappeared from the music scene in like...2004 and then said he was going to do another solo thing and never did. Rumor had it he was sick but god knows if that was true either. Probably not. I really liked his voice but the fact that he had a tendency to just stand on stage and raise his arm operatically irked me a bit, especially when Kozi, Yu~ki and Mana are all off gyrating everywhere. lol I'm a total mental whore for Kozi i swear. >_> :;cough:: anyway...I agree. Kyo has probably the best range in music in general. It's uncanny. X_X

aww, thank you. I went most of my life hating them. Alot of people messed with me because of them, but when I got into jrock and saw all the crooked teeth and how unique it made them I learned to love mine more. I think people put too much stock in the physical sometimes, you know? I used to, but as I got older I've learned ALOT about things that were so important to me when I was 18 but don't matter at all now that I'm 10 years older. It's so weird how that happens.

Ah, I see. I thought they[his braces] looked funny, but I wasn' sure if they were or not. Poor Toshiya though. I wonder what it must be like for them in school with all their quirks? I know Kyo had said he wasn't bullied but rather ignored and said it was kinda worse D: I love learing about Jrocker's personal lives. I understand they want privacy but it reminds me that they're very much human like everyone else, especally for those that didn't have the happiest life in the world.

I also heard Klaha backed down because of health issues but after that I dont know what happened, maybe he just thought to take a break? I came to the concluson Mana steals the souls of everyone who's ever been under him. They hav to sign a contract that if they leave the band, Mana gets to keep their soul. Tetsu and Gaz went to some other band but never really heard from again (or they just suck or something IDK wasn't into Tetu much anyway), Gackt is practically made of plastic by now and I swear half the stuff he makes is commercial which disappoints me, Juka left and went with Hizaki Grace but I heard rumors he stopped due to health issues (I dont really listen to Hizaki Grace projct much so IDK), the other 2 members of Moi di Mois I nver heard of again but were replaced with Sugiya and Hayato, I'd rather not even joke about Kami as it is serious and very sad, but Kozi is still very close frends with Mana so he's of course fine. Yu~ki has some sort of a deal with Mana that he gets to play every now and then~ Schwarz (or raher Kaya and Hora since they parted) and Kanon are fine since they dont actually work under Mana as band members. Klaha's voice gave me shivers~ <3 And I swear he looks 20 years younger solo tha in MM >> I used to looove Kozi but it kinda died way back in like 2003 when I found Dir en Grey. Sometimes, for the lulz, I look at Diru's newest videos (Differet Sese is the newest-newest, yes? The new Zan and Lotus, too...) And then compare it to their VK days like 'Garden' or 'Kasumi' and as much as I love them I have to say 'wtf'. I think it's such a hilarious, dramatic change.

I adore the quirks band members have. Kyo's dwarfish legs compared to his long torso are so cute, but the man can make a nice high jump~ I love his on-stage habits like hiding his left arm or his prety hand movements during songs like Dozing Green. I saw a (lo-quality) picture of Mana-sama smiling and he had a gap between his front two teeth (they're actually otherwse very perfect but teh gp as really big. i thought it was cute). Kozi's just... Everything XD I love Kozi, he's so funny, ad although it's been forever since I read his blo, i love how he replaces 'Na' with 'Nya' and talks like cat~ Kamijo looks so very short in most of the pictures I've seen him in, esecially my Japanese Goth book that has a picture of Versailles riding horses; He's so obviously small in that picture, everyone's legs are at the horses' bottoms of their chests while his are only half-way. Histugi of Nightmare seems bulkier (maybe not fat but just broader) than the other members, Aggy from DELUHI has a very dstinctive face (my dad said he looked like a neanderthal. I laughed a little but I love his face shape <3), singer of Maximum the Hormone isn't exactly skinny and I like that, the members of the GazettE all have such cute quirks and they looks so very different and 'normal' without their makeup. Although a picture of Ruki(Maybe Ruki? It's been while since I've seen it) I saw was him a litte drunk, I admit it was funny but not the most flattering picture in the world, Hizaki has such a very long neck, and there are so many more that I really can't think off the top of my head right now.

Jrock is almost healing~ To me it is anyway. I love the music, some of it is very painful like Diru or or very romantic like Versailles. I lived in small towns(all of them Red Neck towns and bible belts DX) my whole life so I've aways been the odd one out, I wrote all sorts of macabre things for essays and other homework and I realy didn't have many friends. I wasn't bullied but I was hardly praised by teachers with my schools being set up like assembly lines. I loved glam and gothic/punk fashion but not quite the 70's and 80's and like most other people I as of course outcasted even furher. My first JRock song ever was Jibun Kakumei by Miyavi in 2003 (though I later realized my first was actually L'arc en Ciel when I watched Fina Fantasy with my mom when it came to theatres so long ago unless you /really/ want to count the anime that was given at the time) and I loved Miyavi's glamourous punk style with good music~ I found Dir en Grey, Mizer, Phantasmagoria, Velvet Eden, DIO, and lots of other bands and fell in love with their androgynous image and beautiful lyrics <3
Also, learning about Kyo really helps with my own self esteem- A special interview about him growing up kind of reminds me of myself and other people I've heard similar stories (though I dare not compare us as we're different people wth different lives). He says he gets lots of messages thanking him for his lyrics and how he's helped people get through tough times, he said he doesn't like to read said mesages because its an outside influence and he wants his lyrics to be 100% him and for no one else(which although some people think ts rude, i think its sweet that he thinks he'll be incluenced by these letters). For me, I dont want to be like Kyo at all; he dropped out of high school, he was a bit of a naghty kid, not 'bad' but not really 'good', I'm sure he;s had quite the hard life at times, and many other things but rather I want to be myself, like Kyo is himself. With that as well as the realization I dont nor shouldnt give a fuck what people think about me, I leared to just go with the flow <3 I've toned down since a few years ago, though, I used to be all over the place with fashion. I go a detention in school when I dressed up Decora once. Principal said ihad too many clothes and I couldn't wear makeup. lol I'm sure in 10 years from now none of that past ill matter now for me, either <3

Ah, JRock and Jmetal; It's beautiful in all forms <3 My parents actually told me I needed to embrace American culture and they hate the fact they all look like 'drag ueens'. When Jasmine You died, I cried and when I told my parents when they asked why, they ased me 'Was it aids?' refering to ignorantly and purposely (in a cruel-joke manner, of all things, too) that they think Jasmine you was gay and/or had Aids simply because he dressed in drag for Versailles and whatever other reasons. I was so pissed, I just stopped talking to them about certain things. I love my parents but dammit they piss me off DDXX

I've been tring to pay more atention t typoes. I use my mom's computer since mine hasn't been found in the boxes yet and she uses a lazer keyboard. It misses strokes all the time and she's isn't a very fast typist when I am pretty speedy myself >>;; Still, I appologize for terrible typoes~ ORZ

Glasses are insanely easy to make realistic if they're black. Colored ones are harder because you have to define more, but black...just make them solid and add strategic highlights. XD
