Just wanted to warm up quickly today. My best friend and I were discussing yakuza stuff and I wanted to design Tatsurou in a sort of Yakuza setting. At least what was in my head. I was going to go for kind of dark and straightlaced at first, but then I wanted to throw in some punk elements. Total it took about an hour and a half. It's SO much easier/quicker to paint smaller things. Jesus. Just this would have taken 40 years in hi-res. X_XI kind of imagine his tattoo to go around his chest and to his arms kind of like Vossler's collar in FFXII. I dunno. It was just some practice before I started work today. Make of it what you will.Β
I don't usually post any practice stuff. You guys think I should start?

Yeah, but I was working at like 900x900 or something like that. Pretty small, so it was much much easier to work faster.

<33333 I love black and white stuff so I wanted the tattoo to have the white outline. I think it came out pretty cool. Tatsurou is so hot. mmm

I love drawing eyes, but sometimes they're really hard. ;o; I have a lot of unfinished stuff. i should post some of them. Most are like 90% done and just missing a hand or something.
