. I don't know a word of Mandarin. But, considering the 2050's Canada of RS, it would be accurate if everything was written in English, French and Chinese. Especially in Ottawa. So, it would appear I broke one of the four rules I set for myself on dA. I set something in Ottawa. Oh well, I already broke the first rule, allowing a love story into Red Skies, but that was a stupid rule in hindsight. Now all I have to do is draw a fanart/write a fan fiction, and draw a... we'll call it NSFW seen between two characters. Yeah.... not is a rush to do either of those things...

It's that Hybrid arm. Cybernetic arm that allows her do fancy things like electrocute people, stop bullets, and throw light objects like chipped glass or knives. Doesn't make her any stronger... but useful all the same.

Ottawa is, for the most part, a boring but nice place to live. Unfortunately, since they amalgamated Ottawa with all of the surrounding cities (hence why Ottawa is the second largest city in North America, beaten only by LA) there have been way too many seats on the City Council. So, nothing ever gets done. Ever. What good for one end of the city, is shot down by the other end because it doesn't benefit them. Hence the light rail plans problem over the last decade. Everyone wants it to best suit them. And since they can't agree, every time a new council is elected every 3 years, the new council scraps the old plan.
But this time it seems set to work, but they are still arguing over it, because in the end, the mayor concluded "look, lets just make something, and you guys can go about adding on parts later"

Lol, sounds a lot like here. At least city council has been good on getting the new CFL and OHL arenas built at Lansdown Park. Unfortunately, residents in the area have been fighting it since they don't like the traffic the old stadium and arena caused, but finally they've run out of courts to appeal to and construction on that is starting.
Our bus system is actually pretty good here. Since we don't have any other form of public transport, I guess it better be damn good

Oh, here's something I found in a crossover fanfic I started reading, called XSGCOM. I think you might get a chuckle out of it. Well, technically M16s are easier to draw because you don't have to work a lot on the stocks. Handguns are the only things I have difficulty with. e_e

I don't know. I've always found guns fairly easy. I sat down for one day, spent an hour just copying down guns from BF2142 and COD4, and since then, I've been able to draw then with relative ease. As long as I have some reference of course, but even then, Katya's OSV-120 isn't a real weapon, and doesn't look like any real sniper either.
And of course, drawing Cole's Para-Ordanance P14-45 from the top is easy stuff.
